    Description

    CyberIllustrious V5 marks a significant leap forward in realism, skin rendering, and overall image fidelity. Building on the strengths of V4, this version introduces enhanced skin tones, richer colors, and greater anatomical accuracy—delivering more lifelike and emotionally resonant results right out of the box.

    V5 isn't just a visual upgrade; it's a comprehensive refinement. Facial features, especially eyes, have improved structure and clarity even before applying post-process tools. Lighting behavior has been fine-tuned for more natural highlights and shadows, while subtle details like pores, fabric texture, and color gradients feel more tactile and cohesive.

    As always, the choice of negative prompts and samplers still plays a crucial role in shaping the final output, especially when pushing toward photo-realism—but V5 offers more flexibility and consistency across styles and workflows.

    very good but ignores clothing prompts too much. even in the official examples in the third one with the warrior the man is topless despite being prompted for armor. it is like that for almost every prompt I try. would be perfect otherwise

    I disagree. I have created 5 pictures and published them. I think they are about showing what I prompted (not necessarily what I expected / wanted to show).
    1. Author image: There are words suggesting that can be interpreted as more skin to bow shown (depending on the prompt and probably on past pictures that you created with the model)
    2. My images: Show about the same effect. Nobody around, it's very hot, she will only react natureally to get heat up by flames
    3. Only thing "long shirt" didn't work quite as I expected.

    There are a lot of more suggestive words in the prompt, so the results are about what you could expect. If you want to prevent this, you have to clearly instruct / prompt that you do not want to see it.

    @Raininosi I agree that it is generally good but out of 100 images generated there will be 10-15 where clothing is completely ignored for no good reason. This is in comparison to older versions and Pony variation where clothing is followed properly. I have done extensive testing with this between versions. I have created over 1,000 images with prompts and seeds kept identical to compare versions.

    It is especially bad if you give prompts around body type. For instance if you have the prompt "toned, muscular, tshirt" you will find the tshirt prompt is ignored. Because apparently a toned man must always be shirtless. This is not the case in CyberRealistic Pony or older versions of CyberIllustrious.

    I like generating shirtless as well but I would like the model to be more responsive to clothing prompts and not consider them as optional.

    This is the next evolution to perfection. I previously came from CyberRealistic Pony, but it kind of plateaued/fell off after v6 or v8. This is the spiritual successor. More!

    For samplers, of the recommended ones (DPM++ SDE, DPM++ 2M, Euler/Euler a, etc.), I have the best luck with: DPM++ SDE ~= Euler a > DPM++ 2M ~= Euler >> DPM++ 2M SDE. I have good luck with no scheduler.
