Description
Several annoying bugs have been removed (three legs etc.), and as a result, some problems may have reappeared. Several improvements have been added to make it more realistic again. It likely has more issues with standard Illustrious Loras - I haven't tested this much, though (personal Illustrious Loras were not really a problem).

I can't swear if it was not my settings before but with similar prompts v1.6 seems to be (very) better for realism and now gives good result without hires fix, even compared to other "realism illustrious" I've tested.
I don't know how to get detailled faces. Is the Negative Embedding suggested for that?
Here's a weird suggestion, maybe you can try it Use dmd2 4step lora and try fast output from 4 to 8 steps Occasionally there will be some limb errors, but you can often get some good pictures

I'll go straight to the point. The output reminds me a lot of cyberrealistic 4.2 checkpoint for sd 1.5... but this time in HD, with enhanced anatomy and better prompt adherence and lightning. And i love it because, still to this day, it's my favourite sd 1.5 checkpoint (4.2, 5.0 and the classic one). It's the best there is (for sd 1.5), it's not even a question. This is not open to discussion. Sorry.
More over, Cyberillustrious can actually do photorealistic. Don't let the samples deceive you. It's not like pony. I'm sorry but i have never found a "photorealistic" pony checkpoint to this day. I was actually surprised because i thought this checkpoint was more "cartoony". Little did I know how wrong i was.
What could be improved? if this checkpoint is striving for photorealism (i don't know) it could use some slightly better skin detail. I guess. But it's already good as it is.
Other than that, lightning is less crucial, there are a lots of loras out there that are gonna change that to your personal tastes like FLUX Image Upgrader (v.03 of sdxl version) or the midjourney loras for sdxl.
Protip for using this checkpoint: save a lot of your time and use DMD2 lora. It enhances quality and it's fast. LCM, Karras, 10-12 steps. CFG 1-1.5
All in all, very impressive work in very early stages. . It shows a lot of potential if this keeps getting better. I'm very interested in the evolution of this checkpoint.

My experience with dmd lora: Karras needs a bit more steps 15 at least, but not much more. You can use with Beta, then 12 steps, 1.5 cfg seems sweet spot with sharper details.
For some unknown reason, this model often generates feet with four toes.
High quality, but prompt coherence on the pose is non existent. Also produces a very consistent same face, you will likely need to prompt for a specific person/name to change the face.
Could also be that Im just not prompting the right way since this is my first time really using a Illustrious type model, as Ive always avoided pony and Illustrious because Im more into the ultra realistic models.
Yes, you need booru tags, specially for poses. This is how it works.

Just use normal negative prompt (look at examples). And if you want to use a negative file - use a SDXL file.
