My wife's favourite mangaka. Between this and Akemi Takada, she is now happy.
Images have been generated using this LoRA at 1-1.2 weight and AnyLoRA ckpt. Trigger is takahashi rumiko. Some useful prompts I used are 1990s \(style\), retro artstyle and watercolor\(medium\).

wow,My id kozue is Nanao Kozue in Maison Ikkoku~
Hi, @Lykon-san. Whoa, this is surreal. I've only seen this style from my relatives' old collections. This is the same author for Ranma and that cute alien girl thing, was it Rum, Lum or something? Very nice.
Also, when used with the 1980's style tag, does this also automatically change the uhh... fidelity of the scene (blurry, lofi, faded colors, etc)? Or would I need a checkpoint/LoRA specifically targeting that era, like the 80s or even 90s LoRA? Thanks again!
it's just a tag, no other lora required.
I meant, even if I use the "1980s (style)" tag, it just triggers this LoRA and changes the art style, right? It doesn't actually change anything else in the image, like give it those 80s effects like blurriness, ghost images, etc.? Just wanted to know if I would need another model for those effects, or would this LoRA give me those things out of the box? Thanks again for the quick rep!
@CaL9Mi7Y "1980s \(style\)" will ---generally--- alter the style a bit without changing the subject too much. However, given the random nature of some generations, sometimes it might drift a bit.
@Lykon Okay, got it. Actually, in my case, I WANT those old-timey effects, so I do want it to drift quite a bit, heh.
@CaL9Mi7Y same, if you look at my prompts I used for basically all of them
Your wife has great taste!
I've just been reading InuYasha again and was wondering if anyone bothered to make a LoRA.
This is really amazing judging from the preview- and reviewimages posted.
(It's crazy that I've never seen this before even though I've been on your profile multiple times x) )
I need an Illustrious version, right now!
