A Retrospective on "I"s" and Yoshizuki Iori

After gathering research and revisiting the series, one must give the highest praise to Katsura's absolute god-tier artwork in I"s! His masterclass in realistic, micro-expressive hand-drawn linework, his unrivaled mastery of female anatomy, and his complex realization of Yoshizuki Iori—embodying a god, a mother, and a savior all at once—stand as a peak in manga history!

However, looking back years later, the male protagonist's sins are truly unforgivable: A few pages after failing a hotel hookup with the heroine, a brand-new female side character appears just a few pages later in the very same volume to go to a hotel with him again. This absurd tug-of-war dragged on continuously across all 15 volumes! By the end of the manga, even Aiko Aso, who was used as a lookalike, had her personality completely shattered by him—because she was treated as a mere substitute from the very beginning. The author calls this "not wanting to hurt anyone"? I call it having a total lack of brains!

Honestly, Seto's sins are far too heavy; only a literal Holy Mother could ever bear them. I genuinely do not believe any of the sacrifices Yoshizuki Iori made for a guy like Seto were worth it.

My sincere apologies! Over 80% of the dataset was completely dominated by Yoshizuki Iori, meaning other female side characters—including Akiba Itsuki—were totally left out during training!

⭕ The Good News:

The style accuracy is AMAZING! Yoshizuki Iori has truly come to life!

• Cons: The concept is heavily baked. It is very hard to generate a woman who doesn't look like Iori. Even if you prompt other anime characters, it will still render Iori's face doing a cosplay!

• Pros: Nostalgic fans coming here for I"s are here specifically for Yoshizuki Iori anyway! Who cares if she’s cosplaying? Katsura's intricate line art + modern digital coloring + Iori’s signature face—that is precisely what this LoRA was created for!

但多年後回頭再看，男主角的罪過真的太大了： 前幾頁才剛跟女主開房失敗，同一冊的若干頁後立刻又有全新的女配角登場繼續跟男主進賓館。這種套路竟然一直拉扯了整整 15 冊！到了書本最後，連長相酷似女主的麻生藍子，人格都被男主徹底擊碎了——因為她從一開始就被當成替身！作者管這叫“我不忍心傷害”？我說這叫腦子缺根筋！

說實話，瀨戶同學的罪孽深重，全書只有聖母才接得住。我完全不認為葦月伊織為這種男主所做的任何犧牲是值得的。

しかし、数年ぶりに読み返すと主人公（一貴）の罪はあまりにも重すぎます： ヒロインとのホテル行きが失敗した数ページ後、同じ巻のわずか数ページ先で新たなサブヒロインが登場し、またしてもホテルへ向かう……この酷い引き延ばしが全15巻にわたって延々と繰り返されます！物語の終盤では、伊織の身代わりとして扱われた麻生藍子までもが、彼によって人格を徹底的に打ち砕かれました。作者はこれを「誰も傷つけたくないから」などと言い訳しますが、ただの思考停止（脳みそ欠落）です！
