STEPS BASE (after this value the refiner kicks in) should never exceed the value of TOTAL STEPS unless you want to use only the first KSampler.
I like 10:14, increase total steps for realism, these are set for models in suggested resources, Uncanny valley and Fabled Illusion XXXL - (N/SFW), I really recommend downloading them, both are the best I found for their respective roles, feel free to comment your best values!
The main appeal of this workflow is using illustrious/noobai-xl model to setup complex poses or characters and refine it with an sdxl photorealistic checkpoint.
Version 5.5 has additional 1080p version file.

Wanted to try out your workflow but Comfy cant seem to find the "WorkflowSamSche" node. I installed all missing nodes, and looked through all the nodes it displays in the workflow and that one doesn't appear anywhere. Google was of little help here. Any ideas?
Got it working. Not exactly sure how.
@myselfsamagit probably by relaunching the workflow after installing all missing nodes.. It's somewhat of a bug.
@blinkdotleh Missing "workflowSomething" nodes are almost always the result of using grouped nodes.
For some stupid reason, ComfyUI does not save the graph of the grouped nodes in to workflows that uses them. So in order to replicate the workflow on to another instance of ComfyUI, you have to manually also export each grouped node used and import them on to the other instance, then reload the affected workflow. I'm not actually sure that works as I have never tested it. Group nodes have a number of other long standing issues and limitations and why the feature is essentially deprecated and abandoned.
The easiest workaround is to ungroup the node back to individual nodes then export the workflow.
Subgraphs in a future version of ComfyUI frontend should fix this problem, but that will still require altering the workflow and reexporting.
Just tried the latest version. Very happy I can now use two checkpoints ang give credit to both. Several new (to me), features I'll need to read up on to fully understand, but I look forward to it.
