Equinox is a flexible semi-realistic XL model.
Built on top of Illustrious‑XL foundations, Equinox delivers natural rendering with expressive anatomy, clean lighting, and excellent prompt understanding — without being locked into a specific visual style.

I spent a huge amount of time training and merging a multitude of LoRAs and Sliders. The goal was to fix specific issues and refine the generation process.

Global Refinement: Literally everything is a bit better. Hands, eyes, composition — the overall quality.

The 2.5D Aesthetic: Out of the box, v4.0 leans towards a beautiful, rich 2.5D style.

Flexibility: Despite the 2.5D default, the model is steerable. With the right prompting, you can push it towards Anime or close-to-Realism.

🌗 Introducing: Equinox v4.0 Alt Alongside the main version, I’m releasing an Alternative version.

Different Vibe: It shares the same DNA as v4.0 but features a distinct aesthetic.

Lighting & Contrast: The Alt version focuses on better, more nuanced lighting with slightly reduced contrast for a softer, more atmospheric look.
