I present my attempt at a Illustrious character LoRA for John Constantine.
V2 is my second version and attempt to refine the model. I started over on the training, fixed his tie tagging as he apparently never had a black tie (some of my training shots were just dark). I also wanted his face to be a bit more accurate and also clean up the 2D quality for his prompts. I also gave him a bit more natural body hair by default rather than relying on tags for that.
I tried tagging his stubble but clearly all that did was make it lighter (if you leave out the tag) so feel free to add that tag if you want slightly thicker stubble.
LoRA strength recommendations
Use LoRA strength 0.7 with about CFG 3-4.
The tags for V2 are as follows:
main tags
johnc, 1boy, blonde hair, dark eyebrowsoutfit tags
tan trench coat, white collared shirt, red necktie, belt, dark brown pants, black socks, black shoes
optional tag (for slightly thicker facial hair)
stubbleThe settings I used for my generation testing were 3-5 CFG, 20 steps, DPM++ 2M SDE - Karras on Forge with an adetailer (specifically face_yolov8s).
V1 is my initial attempt and produces rather nice results.
