Tarman

Though the creature is referred to as "Tarman", the blackened goo on it is not tar but burned and melted muscle and flesh. The Tarman had enough intelligence above its zombie peers, to the point that it quickly solved a problem and used a chain and lever to pry open a metal closet door to reach a victim.

Here are some useful tags for it:

• monster, teeth, horror (theme), dark, no humans, looking at viewer, open mouth, bald, saliva, tongue, tongue out

• Sometimes gets a face in the chest, use ribcage and/or ribs -- another fix is remove teeth which might not be needed anyway.
