This model allows you to inject kintsugi aesthetics anywhere. While many models have some concept of what kintsugi items look like, few are capable of intuitively applying that material appearance to other objects.

Kintsugi (金継ぎ, "golden joinery"), also known as kintsukuroi (金繕い, "golden repair"), is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.

This LoRA does have a modest bias toward increasing the frequency or intensity of black, gold, blue, and white tones in images, which you'll notice if you use it without the "kintsugi" keyword. It tends toward generating black kintsugi by default.

If you want a person to be wearing kintsugi patterned clothes but don't want the same effect applied to their skin, you can usually implement this by throwing "cracked skin" and "blemishes" in the negative prompt.
