EN — please read before using as reference. This LoRA is an artistic impression, not a historically faithful reproduction. Do not treat its images as a reference for authentic Ming dress.

• The pattern it renders is NOT a true 飞鱼 (feiyu) motif. The genuine Ming "flying-fish" insignia is a bestowed-rank (赐服) auspicious beast — a dragon head + forked fish-tail + fins/wings — it is neither a literal fish nor the emperor's five-clawed dragon, and it sits in its own tier in the 蟒(mang) → 飞鱼(feiyu) → 斗牛(douniu) hierarchy. FLUX's base model has no prior for this motif, so the LoRA approximates it with a generic stylized Chinese dragon-and-cloud brocade. It evokes feiyufu; it does not reproduce it.

• Dragon is stylized; claw count is not controlled. Garment cut defaults to a cross-collar tieli; yesa (flat 马面 panel + side flaps) and round-collar robes summon only weakly.

• This is the inherent difficulty of teaching Ming-Chinese cultural symbols to a Western-trained base model — captions alone can't fix it. For strict fidelity, add ControlNet/reference or use a Chinese base model.

• 它画的不是真正的"飞鱼纹"。 真实的明代飞鱼是一种赐服等级的瑞兽纹:龙头、分叉鱼尾、带鳍/翼——既不是真的鱼,也不是皇帝专属的五爪龙,在 蟒→飞鱼→斗牛 的赐服序列里自成一档。FLUX 底模没有这个文化先验,所以本 LoRA 只能用风格化的中国龙+云纹织锦去近似:远看有飞鱼服的味道,但并非真飞鱼纹。

• 龙的结构是写意的、爪数不可控;形制默认交领贴里,曳撒(中央马面+两侧外摆)和圆领袍召唤较弱。

• 这是"把明代文化符号教给一个西方语料底模"的固有难题,不是改几行提示词能解决的。要严格考据请配合 ControlNet/参考图,或改用中文底模。

Golden rule — write a man / a young man, NEVER a guard. The word "guard" pulls FLUX toward Western military uniforms (epaulettes, gloves). Use man.

FLUX.1-dev is guidance-distilled — negatives often have little effect. Rely on positive wording (man, traditional Ming robe).

💡 Tips & known limits

Tip 1 — topknot (faji): faji alone is often overridden by the cap. To force the topknot, put -headed with hair tied in a high topknot and no hat immediately after faji, AND keep a full robe/scene description (don't pile up "no hat, no cap" with an empty robe — it can drop the robe). This phrasing/placement is what works.

Tip 2 — the dragon: use richly embroidered with a serpentine Chinese imperial dragon in gold across the . FLUX renders a stylized Chinese-dragon brocade; it will read as 飞鱼/蟒 at a glance but is not museum-accurate (a base-model limitation, not the LoRA). For strict historical dragon fidelity, pair with ControlNet or a Chinese base model.

Tip 3 — full body: add zaoxue and use a portrait aspect (832×1216) so the robe and boots render with room.

Tip 4 — face: the LoRA is clothing-focused; faces are generic by design (swap with your own face workflow if needed).
