Hello everyone! I hope you’re all doing great. This time I bring you Ryoko Mitsurugi from the retro anime Samurai Girl: Real Bout High School!

Ryoko Mitsurugi is a modern-day high school girl who also embodies the spirit and discipline of a traditional samurai warrior. As the daughter of a respected swordsman, she has been trained extensively in kenjutsu from a young age, inheriting both the skill and the strong moral code associated with her lineage. Despite attending a regular school, her life is anything but ordinary—she frequently becomes involved in supernatural battles, duels, and conflicts that blur the line between reality and legend.

Ryoko’s personality is defined by her strong sense of justice, discipline, and straightforward nature. She is earnest, determined, and often blunt, preferring action over unnecessary words. While she can appear serious and focused—especially in combat—she also has moments of warmth and subtle humor, particularly in her interactions with friends. Her unwavering resolve and willingness to protect others make her a classic warrior archetype, grounded in both tradition and modernity.

In combat, Ryoko is highly skilled, specializing in swordsmanship with both katana and wakizashi, reflecting a dual-wielding samurai style. Her fighting approach emphasizes precision, speed, and discipline rather than brute force. Throughout the series, her abilities are often pushed to the limit as she faces increasingly dangerous and supernatural opponents.

Visually, Ryoko blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern anime design. She has long dark hair typically tied back with a headband, giving her a practical yet iconic look. Her overall silhouette is athletic and balanced, reflecting her combat training rather than exaggerated proportions. Her outfits vary significantly depending on the context—ranging from formal martial attire to casual and even fanservice-oriented designs typical of early 2000s anime—but consistently maintain elements that highlight her identity as a swordswoman.

Her overall appeal lies in the fusion of samurai tradition, school-life setting, and dynamic combat presence, making her an excellent candidate for LoRA training focused on action poses, weapon handling, and retro anime aesthetics.
