This LoRA is designed to create more accurate quicksand scenes and more consistent mud-covered effect. It can work with strength between 1-2 creating okay results.
Mud-Covered: Use 'color mud-covered' optionally with 'mud-covered x' to create the effect. For example: 'brown mud-covered, mud-covered bikini'. The tag 'colored skin' also helps enforce 100% mud-covered if that is what you want to achieve.
100% Mud-Covered Extra Tips: Since I have had so much trouble making the mud effect cover 100% with Illustrious, here are some of the things I found which help the most.
Some checkpoints drown out the effect with their fine-tunings, I found Hassaku and WAI generally work best.
Increasing LoRA strength up to 2 helps create more mud-covered.
Using character names heavily removes the effect, the most difficult part is getting it to blend the 'mud-covered character' with a different character. I recommend lowering the weight of character tags, facial expressions, and clothing while increasing the weight of mud-covered and colored skin.
I have found creating the mud and quicksand LoRA to be particularly challenging, and will continue to work on improving it whenever I have the time to do so until I am satisfied with its quality.
Quicksand: Use 'x-deep' paired with a description of the location to create the intended effect. For example: 'waist deep, forest, day'. Tags like 'partially submerged', 'wading', and 'quicksand' can help, but they also have their own strong biases that can introduce unwanted effects so be careful with them. However, I found that including 'color quicksand' generally didn't cause too many problems and helped control the color of the quicksand well.
These are the specific trigger words trained in the LoRA: 'brown mud-covered, grey mud-covered, green mud-covered, yellow mud-covered, black mud-covered, neck-deep, chest-deep, waist-deep, thigh-deep, ass-deep'

This is a LoRA trained on muddy faces, hair and bodies with various levels of sinking into quicksand or mud. What it does is provide extreme mud coverage and color control. Base models give you small mud splatters that are always brown, whereas this can make 100% covered or made of mud body parts and clothing in the color of your choice.
It can generate colors other than trained ones, such as red, blue, pink or yellow.
When making quicksand scenes, try using 'close-up', 'portrait', 'upper body', etc. to help her sink deeper.
If you like what this can do, please take a moment to post an image to this model, it helps me out a lot. Thank you!

Here's my result, thanks, I had fun.
I am trying this LoRA and the mud does not go near my eyes at all.
What should I do about this? If I copy the prompt from the reference illustration as is, only the skin color remains around the eyes.
If you can upload some images with prompts, that will help me to see what the problem might be. Otherwise, I added some extra tips for mud-covered in the model description. I have found creating the mud-covered concept to be difficult, and will continue trying to improve the quality as much as I can.
Hi @ColdRoom1542 , looks good!
I've been using your Lora in Noobai V-Pred 1.0 version and I see that it works, but not quite right. I notice that the colors look very saturated and this forces me to lower the CFG or STEPS. I don't have this problem with “WAI NSFW” or other checkpoints based directly on “Illustrious”.
V-Prediction is a superior AI engine to standard Illustrious based checkpoints. Here is a tutorial to train your Lora in Noobai V-Pred 1.0 version. Are you able to do it?
@ColdRoom1542 Great LoRA, for the most part!!!!
BUT
- It tries to generate... loli... often female or otherwise young characters at the recommended strength of 2. While I've been able to get around it, it often messes with the generation.
- The strength also makes the art style, viscosity, and use of other colors like black, really inconsistent, and I find it hard to adjust without another LoRA.
- The coverage often does not spread in a realistic manner, like you'll end up with their entire body being covered, but their wings are just unscathed.
I think these are really important to be fixed, especially the first one kicking Civitai's filter in.
Mud and Quicksand isn't just for girls. Men can wallow and sink in mud too.
This is a very impressive Lora.
It would be even more impressive if her face were completely submerged in mud...
