Edogawa Conan, the male protagonist in the Japanese manga "Detective Conan" and its derivative works. His real identity is high school detective Shinichi Kudo, known as the "Sherlock Holmes of the Heisei era" and the "savior of Japanese police". Due to attempting to track members of the Black Organization, he was ambushed and poisoned with the code name "APTX4869". Although he survived, his body shrank to the appearance of a first grade elementary school student. Afterwards, seeking the help of Dr. Agasa, he changed his name to Edogawa Conan when asked by his childhood friend Mouri Ran. At the suggestion of Dr. Agasa, he stayed at the home of Mouri Kogoro, the father of Xiaolan, to solve various cases while secretly investigating the Black Organization.
