You can try mix-matching these to see the different results.
A lot of the backgrounds consisted of cloudy skies so be specific about what type of background you want. If you want to minimize the clouds, put that in the negative prompt.
Also, most of the images were of men, so if you want females you need to put a higher emphasis on prompts like 1girl -> (1girl:1.4), and set things like 1boy in the negative prompt.

This version is a lot different to v1. v1 had a better oil painting style, while v2 is not able to capture the same oil painting style, it is much more flexible than v1. v2 was trained with a larger dataset, and more diversity with training images.
v2 allows you to change backgrounds, and create more alien/monster like creatures, compared to v1.
