Hi, can you give me some advice on the base resolution of generation and hires? I use the initial resolution of 1024x1640 (aspect ratio 1.6) and then 2x esrgan upscale. At a lower resolution the quality is bad and these are unnecessary steps before hires, and at my resolution it is good, but there is nowhere to increase the resolution for hires, distortions/mutations will begin. I tried to pass the initial resolution through a second ksampler with 0.2-0.4 denoise, but in my opinion this is all wrong, because the point of hires is to scale and then correct. So, what is the best initial resolution with high quality (target aspect ratio 1.6) and what resolution should I aim for when scaling before hires? Also Denoise 0.25 is good, right?
I'd recommend using around 1024 x 1024 resolutions which is documented in this article
My setup would be 768 x 1344 for initial resolution, hires with x1.5, 0.4 denoise using lanczos
To increase the resolution higher, I'd recommend repeat the same thing until you have the desired resolution
If you want to use 5:8 resolution, try using 808 x 1296 and upscale it with x1.5
In my opinion, x2.0 would generate too much noise and takes extra times and VRAM usage

Interesting discussion! I usually do 1024x1536 base renders and then upscale by 1.25 or 1.5 (but not beyond). I keep denoise very low at 0.2-0.25, otherwise glitches like extra abs or double belly button may appear. Might try to start with a lower base resolution and a higher upscale value - if you think that is better.
Need help on how to prompt a human male into the image without the model messing up the anthro character. Basically a human male and anthro female in the same image. Local install is not an option, laptop's too old.

7oxytron it's very mixed results for me lately. Sometimes i get 2 human females, 2 furry males, one female and floating male parts, weird hybrid results and so on. I'll do more testing, try to clean up the prompt a bit. After that, have a specific and consistent male appearance. A lora maybe?
