hmm, what is your definition of shortstack?

I'm pretty sure he's implying that the women in your examples don't look short. Also, 5'5" is above average height for women (5'4" in the US, and 5'3" worldwide). One would have to be significantly below average (at least a standard deviation, or about 2.5" in the US 2.2" worldwide) to be considered "short".
5'5" is nearly a standard deviation above the global average. For women in much of the world, that's not only not short, it's tall.
