Are there any plans for Illustrious 1.1 merge?
Currently, the Illustrious merge has failed multiple iterations and hasn't even stabilized at version 1.0, remaining prone to critical instability. Given that I'm working with a less popular checkpoint, the extensive structural work I've implemented has proven more effort than it's worth. On the practical side, even NoobAI can leverage Illustrious' LoRA architecture, and notably, NoobAI already integrates a dedicated ControlNet with significantly broader versatility. There are no immediate plans to prioritize Illustrious. If development resumes in the future, it would require an extended holiday period to allocate sufficient R&D time.
We don't need a version of this model based in Illustrious 1.1, we're okay with NoobAI based versions.
