Albert Clifford Slater (usually shortened to A.C. Slater, or just Slater) is the deuteragonist of the sitcom Saved by the Bell. He also appears in the spin-offs Saved by the Bell: The College Years and Saved by the Bell: The New Class (as a guest), as well as the 2020 reboot, where he's the Bayside football coach.

Slater's best friends are Zack Morris, Kelly Kapowski, Jessica "Jessie" Spano, Samuel "Screech" Powers and Lisa Turtle.

Slater is the jock of the group, showing his love for sports and working out. He is shown to have a higher moral standard than Zack, but that doesn't stop him from playing his right-hand man in some of his schemes.
