Kelli McCarty won the Miss USA beauty pageant title in 1991. She was the first competitor from Kansas to win. The American reached the final of the Miss Universe election.
She began her career as an actress in the mid-1990s with guest appearances in various TV series such as Palm Beach Duo and Melrose Place.
Kelli McCarty attracted attention through her participation in erotic and porn films. In 2008, she signed a contract with Vivid Entertainment, a porn film production company. In 2010, the former Miss USA was nominated at the AVN Award for Best Actress in director Paul Thomas' film Faithless. The film, released in 2009, remained the only appearance in the porn industry. In the following years she worked again as an actress on television, primarily appearing in erotic films in addition to a few small roles in series.
