Elegant lines, intricate worlds, and a little illustrated sorcery.
Step into the richly imagined visual world of Michael Wm. Kaluta, where fantasy, science fiction, Art Nouveau elegance, and classic comic-book illustration meet.
This SDXL style LoRA explores Kaluta's distinctive illustrative vocabulary: graceful figures, expressive linework, elaborate costumes, ornamental architecture, atmospheric environments, and compositions that look as though they belong on the cover of a particularly wonderful book you haven't discovered yet.
From mysterious heroines and fantastical creatures to retro-futuristic cities, elaborate interiors, and ordinary objects given an unexpected illustrated personality, this LoRA invites you to see what happens when Kaluta gets hold of the drawing board.

Usage
Base model: SDXL
Trigger: Kaluta_style
Suggested starting strength: 1.0, then adjust to taste.
For a stronger illustrated appearance, experiment with higher weights and explicitly request an illustration, comic-book illustration, or fantasy illustration.
For more unusual results, try ordinary subjects, unexpected environments, or combining Kaluta with other artistic influences.
A note on prompting: Artist names and style terms may already activate associations within your checkpoint, even with the LoRA disabled. For meaningful comparisons, test with and without the trigger as well as with and without the LoRA.
A little artistic mischief
Try a retro-futuristic city, a mysterious masked woman, a fantastical machine, an elaborate Gothic interior, or an old-fashioned telephone.
Sometimes the most interesting results come from asking an extraordinary illustrator to draw something entirely ordinary.
No enchanted drafting table required.
