VanGoghMadness – Krea 2 Style LoRA
Trigger words: vangoghmadness, expressive oil painting,
The final result can vary considerably depending on the Krea 2 diffusion model and prompt being used.
This LoRA was trained to create an expressive oil-painting aesthetic inspired by the distinctive visual language of Vincent van Gogh.
It can be used for portraits, characters, landscapes, and many other types of scenes.
For a stronger and more pronounced painterly effect, I recommend adding “expressive oil painting” directly after the trigger word.

The Madness of Vincent van Gogh
Vincent van Gogh only began painting seriously at around the age of 27.
Within just ten years, he created approximately 900 paintings. Yet during his lifetime, widespread success eluded him. Financially, he remained almost entirely dependent on his younger brother Theo.
In 1888, his tragic psychological decline began. In Arles in southern France, he lived for a time with the painter Paul Gauguin. Following intense conflicts, Van Gogh suffered a severe psychological crisis. In December 1888, he cut off part of his left ear.
His condition deteriorated further. He suffered recurring severe psychological episodes, confusion, and periods in which he lost touch with reality. The exact nature of the illness behind these episodes remains disputed to this day.
In 1889, he voluntarily admitted himself to the psychiatric hospital at Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
And yet, remarkably, some of his most famous works were created during this extraordinarily difficult period of his life, including The Starry Night.
His Tragic End
In July 1890, only a few months after leaving the hospital, Van Gogh was critically wounded by a gunshot to the upper body in Auvers-sur-Oise. According to the generally accepted account, the wound was self-inflicted, although alternative theories have been proposed.
He managed to return to his inn. His brother Theo rushed to be with him and remained at his bedside.
On July 29, 1890, Vincent van Gogh died at the age of just 37, two days after the shooting.
His brother Theo died only six months later.
The true tragedy of Van Gogh's story is that he received very little recognition during his lifetime. Today, some of his paintings are valued at well over 100 million dollars.
A man who could barely make a living from his art during his lifetime left the world some of its most valuable paintings.
