Making my first character LoRA turned into a much bigger learning experience than I expected. There were rebuilt datasets, stubborn artifacts, inconsistent checkpoints, training setbacks, the cost of it all... and plenty of second-guessing. Each attempt taught me something, even when the results felt like a step backward.

After all the revisions and testing, I finally have a version that captures the likeness I wanted and holds up across different poses, outfits, and styles. It’s a relief to call it finished.

2000 is the standard, with 1600 and 1200 here for some subtle but worthwhile differences.

I don't know if I'll ever do this type of thing again, but if I ever do, I have one character in mind.
