She considers Reiko Mikami to be her best friend, as she was the only person who spoke to her and was able to calm Meiko down when she lost control of her Shikigami in public during the Exorcist License trials. Since then she follows Mikami, trying to win her friendship, although she is always seen as an undesirable pest that causes destruction wherever she goes.
