Meet Thistle.
Thistle is a Canadian of Egyptian descent who pays the bills mostly by talking into microphones. Commercials, narration, games, whatever happens to land in her inbox. There's a decent chance she's enthusiastically recommended a product to you without either of you knowing it.

Off the clock, she's considerably less polished. She's practical, outdoorsy, quietly sarcastic, and happiest when she's got somewhere to go or something to do. She's equally at home wandering a quiet antique shop, disappearing down a trail, or getting unnecessarily competitive over absolutely anything that can be considered a sport.

Thistle isn't loud and she isn't particularly interested in impressing anyone. She's simply comfortable being herself. Usually sensible, occasionally impulsive, and always willing to find out whether that questionable idea is actually as questionable as everyone says.
