Start your prompt with 'Charcoal Drawing'

The versions came in quickly, but this 1.1 might already be my end point - it's pretty much exactly what I was envisioning for this model. More realist and detailed, more flexible, yet still visibly charcoal rendering. With a big caveat:

The appearance of charcoal diminishes dramatically with a lot of checkpoints other than the base SDXL.

You can still get some cool imagery, but it's going to lean toward black-and-white photography or grayscale paintings. If you really love that charcoal look, stick with the base model.

as an example (not always this dramatic a difference, but not infrequent either) here's the same prompt between SDXL base and JuggernautXL v8:

The Juggernaut image is fine! But I believe it much more as a stylized photo or hyperreal oil painting. It doesn't look to me like charcoal.
