# LoRA Tagging Assistant

LoRA Tagging Assistant is a Windows application designed to make preparing image datasets for LoRA training easier and more efficient.

It provides tools for editing tags and captions, running AI-assisted tagging and caption generation, organizing dataset files, cropping images, and performing batch operations from a single interface.

The application is completely free to use.

## Dataset File Management

LoRA Tagging Assistant treats image files and their related metadata files as a set.

Supported related files include:

- .txt tag files

- .caption caption files

When copying, moving, renaming, or deleting an image, the corresponding tag and caption files can be processed together.

When files with the same name already exist in the destination, you can choose:

- Replace All Files

- Add Missing Files Only

- Skip This Entire Image Set

- Cancel

The same choice can optionally be applied to subsequent conflicts during the same operation.

## Image Cropping

The built-in crop tool supports:

- Adjustable crop selection

- 8-direction resize handles

- Moving the crop area

- Safe file replacement

- One-level Undo Crop

## ZIP Export

Datasets can be exported to ZIP while including the corresponding image, tag, and caption files.

After export, the destination folder can be opened directly from the application.

## Requirements / Distribution

LoRA Tagging Assistant is distributed as a Windows application.

The release package includes the files required to run the application, so a separate Python installation is not required.

For AI tagging, the included model files are stored with the application resources.

Gemini and OpenAI caption generation require your own API key.

Florence-2 runs locally.

Before using batch operations on an important dataset, keeping a backup is recommended.

## データセットのファイル管理

LoRA Tagging Assistant では、画像ファイルと関連するメタデータファイルをひとまとまりとして扱います。

対応する主な関連ファイル：

- .txt タグファイル

- .caption キャプションファイル

画像をコピー / 移動 / リネーム / 削除する際、対応するタグ・キャプションファイルも連動して処理できます。

コピー先や移動先に同名ファイルが存在する場合は、以下から処理方法を選択できます。

- すべて置き換える

- 存在しないファイルだけ追加

- この画像セットをすべてスキップ

- キャンセル

同じ処理を、その後に発生する同名ファイルにも適用することもできます。

内蔵のトリミング機能では、以下の操作に対応しています。

## 動作環境 / 配布形式

LoRA Tagging Assistant はWindows向けアプリケーションとして配布しています。

配布パッケージには実行に必要なファイルが含まれているため、別途Pythonをインストールする必要はありません。

AIタグ付け用のモデルファイルは、アプリケーションのリソースとして同梱されています。

Gemini / OpenAIによるキャプション生成を使用する場合は、ご自身のAPIキーが必要です。
