It's that big because it's got a lot of ass-ets in it. And no, please don't trim if it's going to affect the quality. If you're setup right you shouldn't have a bunch of loras laoding into the memory.

If it does that whole "one more lora and doubles your time" thing, its a bug. Some people have said using a turbo lora at 0.001 strength fixed it for no apparent reason. But its just a bug. Adding four 250mb loras will do the same thing. Even adding one could.

I've been experimenting lately with larger lora stacks, and I am surprised at how many can be jammed in and expressed if you're patient enough to find the right weights. Wolfgang's right, trying to find the right prompting with just one or two surgical loras is generally more powerful than a whole bunch of low-weighted loras that don't quite match. Finding a nice balance can be rewarding though. If the author's lora is prompted well, that "whole" gb could also go towards reducing other loras, the turbo weight, steps, etc.

It might be worth it. You'd have to try it and see. As creators get better, the ranks will start to increase to enable more robust variety.
