From the 1990's science fiction TV show "Sliders", now you too can slide to parallel dimensions in Krea2!

This is obviously a very niche LoRA, and I made it just for the heck of it, hopefully someone will have fun with it. It is trained on both the sliders vortex, and the handheld sliders timer.

The Sliders Vortex is pretty straight forward, but it comes with a few caveats. Firstly, Krea2 doesn't always know where to place it, and will generally want to place it on the ground. So it's best to specify where you want it placed, or the orientation. Prompting "floating in the air" works pretty well as a standard placement description too. The gravity lensing effect of the sliders vortex generally must be prompted for best effect. So something like "It has a gravity lensing effect around it" works pretty well. One thing the sliders vortex is sadly missing is the person/object stretching effect that is typically part of its characteristics on the show when things go into it, but with clever prompting I'm sure this effect can be added to a scene.

While the Sliders Timer can come out pretty well, it's not perfect, and requires a lot of prompting. For example, just prompting "sliders timer" won't exactly get you it. Prompting "Sliders timer. The digital display for the days reads 069. The digital display for hours reads 10, the digital display for minutes reads 15, the digital display for seconds reads 22", will work better but still not give you the entire device faithfully. Prompting "A sliders timer device. It is a handheld digital device with LCD displays for numbers that one usually holds like a TV remote control" kind of works OK too for distant shots, but still won't get you it entirely. It actually requires almost the whole training prompt to get the entire device, and even then there will be some issues with things like the button layouts, but it will look very close.

The captioning for the sliders timer was difficult, but it does open some doors for ease of use in tweaking things, because it very much understands aspects of the device like being able to accurately prompt the days and time remaining, and you could also probably prompt other aspects since the captioning describes the displays on the device. I may try to simplify the captioning if I make future versions, but I'm guessing that would result in a less accurate recreation.

It's probably best to just use an edit model to add a Sliders Timer into a scene instead of trying to prompt for it. It is still workable as a concept with good prompting or scene placement. Sometimes I just don't bother putting it into a scene at all and just prompt for a TV remote control instead. But I wanted to include it anyways as part of the whole package of the LoRA, because someone else may be able to get better results out of it than me.

Sliders Timer:

A sliders timer device. It is a handheld digital device with LCD displays for numbers that one usually holds like a TV remote control. The lighting for the LCD numbering is red with diffused haloing effects to the lighting. At the top of the device is an LCD number display with 3 numbers indicating days. Below that is another LCD number display that can display 6 numbers in total, with the first two numbers indicating hours, the second two numbers indicating minutes, and the third two numbers indicating seconds, in a military time or 24 hour digital clock format. Below that and on the left there is writing on the device that says Tau, Zeta, and Delta, with a small rectangular dim orangish diffused light beside it, indicating whether Tau, Zeta, or Delta is on or off. To the right of Tau, Zeta, and Delta, is a row of rectangular dim green diffused lights that behave like a signal level meter or VU meter, meaning the pattern in which ones are on or off can vary between shots, or be set to a specific setting or pattern. The device also has other cell phone style buttons with specific labeling on them and the bottom part of it is on a hinge that can fold into an open or closed position like a flip phone does. It has a 1990's aesthetic to it since it is from a 1990's TV show called Sliders. When the device is turned completely off, no lights will be on.
