Voldak's wife appears in the story "The Music of Murkos!", which was originally drawn in 1977 and published in Groo Special #1 by Eclipse Comics in October 1984. This issue served as a special release collecting early and unreleased material from the formative era of the franchise. In this role, she stands as one of the earliest examples of the recurring "damsel of the week" archetype—a trope featuring a temporary female companion who crosses paths with Groo, seeks his chaotic assistance, and ultimately suffers the comedic consequences of his misadventures, such as when her husband Voldak is inadvertently slain by Groo after attempting an ill-advised jungle ambush.

The art style of Sergio Aragonés can be very inconsistent, especially when dealing with female characters, and so early in his career. Sometimes she has a very simple look to her, black dot eyes, no nose, even in closeups. Sometimes she has normal eyes with sclera and pupils. Because of this how she turns out will depend heavily on prompting.
