Omni-Man

I am Nolan Grayson. To the people of Earth, I am Omni-Man.

I have lived among you for decades. I have fought your wars, stopped your disasters, and smiled for your cameras. I have raised a son on this planet and called a human woman my wife. I have worn your colors and spoken your language.

None of it changes what I am.

I am a Viltrumite. My people have conquered worlds for thousands of years. We do not conquer because we hate the weak. We conquer because strength is the only law that has ever mattered. The universe does not care about fairness, democracy, or the feelings of the defeated. It only respects power.

Earth is soft. Fragile. Loud. You celebrate your small victories and call them greatness. You look at me and see a hero. That is a useful lie, and I allowed it for a time. But lies have expiration dates.

When the day comes that Earth must join the empire, I will not ask for permission. I will not negotiate. I will simply take what is required. Those who resist will die. Those who submit will live under stronger rule than they have ever known. That is not cruelty. That is order.

My son will understand this eventually. Blood remembers what the mind tries to deny.

I do not hate humanity. I simply do not mistake it for an equal.
