Anyone try Anima 2p9 Preview1 yet?

I know I did.

And even threw something into the microwave to try it out with.

First Impressions

Anima 2p9 looks strong and consistent - 5 fingers everywhere.

So consistent in fact, it's a little sus.

But time will show where it goes.

For those unaware, Base Anima is 2b parameters. Anima 2.9 adds extra 900m on top. Also does some extra denoising on some extra top layers, yada yada... Long story short, generation time increased as well.

Lora on the other hand is a quick 10 epoch test I ran on one of the smaller datasets (~150 images), to see some non-base output. Results are mixed, but fingers did carry over, which is worth something, I'm sure.
