Fun fact: Cartoon Network tried to ban Speedy cartoons on the grounds that he was an offensive stereotype, but after backlash from the Mexican-American community, CN put him back on the air.
It just goes to show you, large corporations can't claim to speak for a minority ethnic group and expect to be free from consequences.
