This model greatly increases the depth and texture of impasto painting With these thick putty knife textures and layers of paint that the base model does do well.
Description
PainterCore is the successor to the original Impasto Painting release. Same goal, new pipeline: instead of a single-style fine tune, this version was trained on a curated 75 image dataset built from self distilled renders of a multi model merge stack, analog film photography, retro poster art, and plain photo anchors for regularization.
What changed from v1: the impasto signature is deeper and more sculptural, but subjects stay coherent at usable strengths. Faces, lettering, and fine detail survive where the old version tended to crust over. The strength dial is genuinely useful: 0.5 to 0.6 keeps more prompt detail, 0.7 to 0.8 is the sweet spot shown in the samples, 1.0 and above goes fully sculptural.
Recommended settings: Krea 2 Turbo at 8 steps, CFG 2.0, strength 0.8. Also works on the Krea 2 raw base at 24 steps, CFG 4.5 for finer detail under the impasto. No trigger words needed, it applies as a global style.
Works on any Krea 2 checkpoint. Sample images rendered on my unreleased PaintCore merge stack.
