What this is

The classic animated Harley — red-and-black diamond harlequin bodysuit, three-point jester cap, white ruff collar, black domino mask, white face paint. Not the modern movie design.

That choice is deliberate. In a 312-post sample of Harley fan art, only about 9% used the classic jester design — the overwhelming majority is the modern/movie look. So the classic version is the genuinely underserved one. It also keeps the model entirely in illustrated-character territory: there is no real-person likeness anywhere in the training data.

Anima in particular had no Harley Quinn LoRA at all before this one.

The costume is controllable

The signature outfit is on only ~60% of the training set. Prompt pieces in or out:

• Full classic: jester cap, domino mask, red bodysuit, white ruff collar

• No hat: blonde hair, twin ponytails, domino mask

• Modern hair: multicolored hair, blue hair, pink hair, twintails

• Civilian / unmasked: blonde hair, twin ponytails, casual clothes (omit mask + cap)

• Nude / lingerie: completely nude or red and black lingerie, garter belt

Identity traits (blue eyes, red lips, pale skin, makeup) bind to harleyq itself.

Known failure modes

1. Don't prompt grin. Use closed mouth with seductive smirk / calm expression / gentle smile. Biggest quality lever.

2. Prefer upper body over close-up portrait.

3. Weight above 1.0 isn't recommended.

4. Hands holding props are occasionally soft — FaceDetailer fixes it.

5. At 0.6 costume reads less saturated — use 0.8 unless stacking a strong style LoRA.

Getting the best out of it

• FaceDetailer pass is nearly free and visibly cleaner.

• Hero images: HiRes fix (latent 1.5, denoise ~0.45) then FaceDetailer.

• Samples are ESRGAN 2× (RealESRGAN_x4plus_anime_6B).
