I think it's such a shame that one of Rain's best designs in the Mortal Kombat universe is just an NPC. I made this LoRA because I absolutely love him in this outfit.
The model was trained on Illustrious, but it seems to work well with Pony-based checkpoints too.
ACTIVATION:
1boy, black hair, purple clothing, gold trim, gold helmet, high ponytail, purple ninja mask with gold anchor print, sleeveless, dark skinned male, bare chest, purple tabard, purple capelet, black pants, gold gauntlet, pink gem, armored boots, black eyes, angry eyebrows
ABOUT THE SAMPLING METHOD:
Most sampling methods will give you images that are either way too pale or completely blown out color-wise. The reason is that my training specifically focused on the good old DPM++2M, which tends to produce a more balanced and natural color output for users.
CHALLENGES WITH THE MODEL:
Despite my best efforts, his crown design combined with the anchor-print mask is pretty unusual and complex. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't train the LoRA thoroughly enough to get the model to render those details 100% correctly. As a result, the model still tends to generate images with poorly defined eyes. With that in mind, my biggest recommendation is to use Inpaint with a dedicated eye-fixing LoRA to correct the eyes after generating the image. ADetailer's "full_eyes_detect" usually helps quite a bit with this too.
NEGATIVE PROMPTS:
If the checkpoint messes up his hair and gives him buns instead of a ponytail, it's worth adding "samurai bun" to the negative prompt. Since Mortal Kombat X is a 3D game, you might need to throw in "3d render" or "realistic" as negative prompts if you're aiming for more cartoony images. Finally, if the pants come out looking purple, adding "purple pants" to the negative prompt helps as well.

I don't know what is going on, but CivitAI detects BeyondSDXLv4 negative as this LoRA.
