Negative values push the image toward illustration, positive values push it toward realism.

Krea 2 is already ridiculously good at styles it knows, so most of the time the "correct" solution is probably a better prompt. That said, sometimes you just want to type a character name, throw a LoRA on it, and move on with your life. That's where this slider comes in.

Think of it as a style steering wheel. If the model is looking a little too much like concept art, push it toward realism. If it's getting too photographic and losing the illustrated charm, pull it back the other way.

Values around -1 to +1 are usually the sweet spot. You can absolutely go further if you want stronger results, but at some point you're basically telling the model to stop negotiating and commit to one side.

I've included a few examples because the effect is easier to see than explain. The slider doesn't just add detail or remove it—it changes how Krea interprets the image, from anime eyes and painted textures all the way to skin pores and camera-like realism. Use it whenever the model's idea and your idea aren't quite having the same conversation.

The way you presented the example images deserves a separate praise, same prompt (except for the numbers), same seed - results are very close, very nice! Since you used 12 steps it must be a turbo, was it raw + turbo lora or turbo model? If it was a lora, can you share which one? Thanks for the slider!

I've been experimenting with training my own LoRA's and the 'plastic/3D skin' effect in Krea 2 is definitely an issue for me. But using this LoRA, even at a lower positive strength like +0.50, solves that problem and makes skin (and everything else) look much more photorealistic. And being able to go negative for an instant cartoon effect is pretty fun to play around with. Great work!

Definitely does what it says on the tin. Also keeps the composition almost exactly the same. Well done, and thank you!

Surprisingly even thou its not an edit model, krea2 with a realism Lora delivers the best img2realism experience.

I will not create this one. But other people already did.

Great LoRA! It does an amazing job enhancing realism and breaking that fake AI plastic look. The only downside is that it tends to darken the image way too much (underexposure / heavy shadows) when you push the weight up. Other than that, awesome work, thanks for sharing!
