How to Use

1. Install ComfyUI and ComfyUI-Cosmos-Reference.
2. Set up a basic Anima Edit workflow.
3. Add a black border around the image you want to outpaint/extend before generating.

Important

1. Avoid extending too much in a single pass. Extend the image gradually for the best quality.
2. It may cause slight color or lighting shifts compared to the original image.
3. For best results, keep the maximum resolution around 1024 px (per side, depending on your workflow).
4. If you need a much larger canvas, extend the image in multiple smaller steps instead of one large generation.
5. Works best when extending the background rather than the character.

If you can run comfyui locally than i suggest an img2img workflow with Illustrious making the initial images, sending off to anima very low denoise pass and then using the lora.

Illustrious can't have edit capabilities. However, something like ControlNet inpaint can get you relatively the same outpaint capabilities.

Very Cool lora, once I got a workflow working. I tried the workflow attached to the showcase images, didn't work well so I made my own. Got images to go from 512x768 -> 1024x768 -> 1536x896 reliably. trying to increase the image size vertically didn't work as well as expanding horizontally.

Works amazingly well even with realistic turbo models.

Interestingly this also does inpainting! I'm not yet sure how consistent it is but just noticed that if an image has other black areas besides the extended edges, they also receive new content.
