Granity from the video game and anime series Monster Rancher (1999), a monster-raising franchise where creatures are revived from Disc Stones and trained for battles, tournaments, and adventures, she is a Pixie/Golem hybrid monster whose game version appears as a powerful Pixie breed with stone-like features, mossy green hair, a stone headdress, and an aloof presence connected to her granite-inspired design. In the anime, Granity is tied directly to Pixie, a former member of Moo’s Big Bad Four who later turns against him and helps the Searchers. After Pixie is badly wounded by Moo and loses her wings, Big Blue sacrifices himself by fusing with her to save her life, creating Granity as a stronger new form that carries both Pixie’s identity and the cost of Big Blue’s sacrifice. Her story keeps her connected to Genki, Holly, Suezo, Mocchi, Golem, Tiger, and their fight against Moo, while also giving her a more tragic role as a redeemed enemy who survives through fusion but is left alone afterward. Later, she is controlled and forced into battle again before breaking free, showing that her will and memories remain beneath the altered form.
