    Overview

Step into the darkroom of a master analog photographer. V67 Photographic Filters brings the authentic look of optical glass filters directly into Flux – no post‑processing, no digital imitations. From the subtle warmth of a Skylight filter to the surreal glow of Infrared, from the dramatic skies of a Red B&W filter to the silky water of a 10‑stop ND, this LoRA teaches Flux the physics of light passing through real glass.

Each filter is trained as a distinct trigger word – apply it like screwing a filter onto your lens. The result? Coherent, physically plausible effects that respect your subject, lighting, and composition.

Base Model: Flux (Schnell / Dev / Pro)
Trigger Word set: See full list below.

    Why Flux + Photographic Filters?

Flux already excels at realistic textures and lighting. Adding optical filter effects through a LoRA preserves the model’s inherent quality while injecting the specific character of each filter – without destructive post‑processing artifacts.

Signature Style Elements (per filter family)

    1. UV / Skylight – Warmth without exposure change, removes blue cast

    2. B&W Color Filters – Dramatic sky darkening, skin tone separation

    3. Polarizer (CPL) – Deep blue sky, reflections eliminated, saturated foliage

    4. ND (Fixed & Variable) – Motion blur in daylight, wide apertures in bright sun

    5. GND (Soft, Hard, Reverse) – Balanced landscapes, sunset horizons preserved

    6. Infrared – White foliage, dark sky, ghostly skin, surreal false color

    7. Creative FX – Soft glow, star bursts, rainbow diffraction, fog, vintage warmth

    8. Close‑Up Lenses – Extreme macro, shallow depth, edge softness

    Trigger Words & Usage

Use these single‑word or short‑phrase triggers anywhere in your prompt (best at the end, before quality tags).

    text

uv filter, skylight filter, bw red filter, cpl filter, nd10 filter, nd variable filter, gnd soft filter, gnd hard filter, gnd reverse filter, ir filter, soft fx filter, closeup lens, diffusion filter, star 4 filter, warm 85b filter, fog filter, rainbow filter, uhc filter, fld filter, sunset grad filter, vintage warm filter

Recommendation: Place the trigger word after your subject and scene description. For stronger effect, increase LoRA weight (see settings below).

    Negative Prompt (Flux-Compatible)

Flux works best with minimal negative prompting. This concise version is effective:

    text

nsfw, low quality, worst quality, ugly, blurry, photograph, photorealistic, modern, plastic, digital, text, watermark, signature, overprocessed, fake hdr

For infrared and diffusion filters, you may omit photorealistic to allow artistic interpretation.

What This LoRA Excels At (With Flux)

UV/Skylight – Outdoor portraits, vintage skin tones
B&W filters – Dramatic skies, landscape contrast, fine art
Polarizer – Landscape, water scenes, product photography
ND filters – Long exposure water, clouds, crowd removal
GND filters – Sunsets, mountainscapes, seascapes
Infrared – Surreal landscapes, fine art, fantasy
Creative FX – Dreamy portraits, night cityscapes, retro moods
Close‑Up – Macro details, jewelry, flowers, insects

    Limitations (Flux-Specific Notes)

⚠️ IR filter works best with strong sunlight and foliage – indoor scenes may not show the Wood effect
⚠️ Star filter requires point light sources (street lamps, reflections) – diffuse lighting reduces effect
⚠️ Close‑up lens reduces working distance – best for subjects within 10‑30cm
⚠️ Variable ND at very high densities may introduce slight color cast – keep weight ≤0.75
⚠️ GND filters assume a clear horizon – for complex foregrounds use gnd soft filter instead of hard

    Prompting Tips for Best Results

    Do this:

    text

[subject] in [setting], [light condition], [trigger word], [optional material/texture hints]

    Example good prompt:

    text

a lone tree in a golden wheat field, late afternoon sun, deep blue sky with white clouds, cpl filter, vibrant colors, sharp details

    Keywords that strengthen each filter:

FilterHelpful keywordsPolarizerdeep blue, reflections gone, saturatedInfraredwhite foliage, dark sky, surrealND long exposuresilky water, streaking clouds, motion blurSoft focusdreamy, glowing highlights, low contrastStar filternight lights, starburst, every lampVintage warmamber, 1970s, Kodachrome, nostalgic

    Avoid:

    • Conflicting effects (e.g., nd10 filter with fast shutter)

    • Modern materials with vintage filters (plastic, LED, smartphone)

    • Extremely short prompts (Flux needs context)

    Credits & Notes

The V67 Photographic Filters collection is inspired by classic optical filter manufacturers – Hoya, B+W, Tiffen, Lee, and the darkroom masters who knew that the best effects happen in camera, not in post.

This LoRA is a tribute to analog photographers who carefully chose their glass before pressing the shutter – and to Flux, which lets us relive that intentionality in the digital realm.

“Light is your paint, the lens is your brush, and filters are your palette.”
