林 / 克林 (Lin / Colin)

林是人类主角，也是玩家操作的视角。他并非自愿参与实验，而是在一场席卷全球、对人类致命的“苍白病毒”爆发后，被当作实验体送入设施内的低温舱强制休眠。等他因电力故障苏醒时，已在舱内沉睡了约五年，对外界剧变一无所知。

醒来后，他唯一的初始目标是逃离这座遍布胶兽、充满同化危机的废弃研究所。在与普罗相遇并同行后，他的目标从单纯的“独活”逐渐转变为“与同伴一起活下去”。他需要在逃亡中做出关键抉择，例如是否信任同为兽形的K博士、在自身感染病毒的绝境下是接受改造还是冒险突围。这些选择导向截然不同的终局：有时他能成功逃出，有时则沦为实验品，或被同化为新物种的一员。

Lin is the human protagonist and player character. He did not enter the facility willingly but was cryogenically frozen as a test subject after a global outbreak of the deadly "Pale Virus." Waking up roughly five years later due to a power failure, he knew nothing of how much the world had changed.

His initial goal was simply to escape the derelict research facility overrun by latex beasts and assimilation threats. After meeting and traveling with Puro, his objective gradually shifted from mere survival alone to surviving withhis companion. Throughout his flight, he faces critical choices—whether to trust the bestial Dr. K, whether to accept mutation when infected—leading to vastly different endings: sometimes escaping successfully, other times becoming an experiment or a new form of life himself.

普罗 (Puro)

普罗是高智慧黑胶狼兽个体，诞生于研究的“失败样本”，因其独特的求知欲而被保留观察。他厌恶同族的本能生活，主动离群，藏身于设施图书馆自学人类语言与文化，渴望亲眼见到书中描绘的外面世界。

通过K博士的报告，他得知了冷冻舱内的人类实验体“林”的存在，并将其视为通过人类检测门禁、实现逃亡的关键。为此，他曾在仓库附近长期潜伏，计划同化林。但在漫长的孤独等待中，他意识到即便成功也将孑然一身，于是放弃了吞噬计划，转而希望与林建立平等的同伴关系。

Puro is a highly intelligent black latex wolf, originally deemed a failed specimen but kept under observation for his unusual curiosity. Disliking the primal existence of his kind, he left the pack, hid in the facility’s library, taught himself human language and culture, and dreamed of seeing the outside world described in books.

From Dr. K’s reports, he learned about Lin—the human in cryo-sleep—and initially saw him as the key to bypassing human-only security and escaping. He once planned to assimilate Lin, lying in wait near storage. But during his long isolation, he realized that even success would leave him alone, so he abandoned that plan, choosing instead to seek an equal partnership with Lin.

K博士 (Dr. K)

K博士曾是研究所的人类研究员，在设施暴动中幸存，此后长期独自坚守。他对抗病毒的手段极端且偏执，认为常规方法已无法挽救人类，最终选择注射实验药剂将自己改造成白色狼兽人，以求免疫病毒并在失控的环境中继续研究。

他将林视为验证其“兽化疗法”理论的关键样本，行为矛盾：一方面试图说服林接受改造以“延续人类存在”，另一方面又会强行拘禁和控制林，以确保实验按他的意志进行。在剧情后期，他会向林坦白自己的绝望与坚持，并提出一种妥协方案——让林接受有限度的兽化，从而在不丧失自我的前提下存活，并与普罗一同离开。

Once a human researcher, Dr. K survived the facility’s collapse and remained behind, working alone in desperation. Convinced conventional methods could no longer save humanity, he took experimental drugs to transform himself into a white wolf-like beast, granting immunity while allowing him to continue his work amid chaos.

He views Lin as the crucial test case for his radical “beast therapy.” His actions are contradictory: he tries to persuade Lin that transformation is the only way to preserve humanity, yet also imprisons and controls him to ensure compliance. Later, he confesses his despair and proposes a compromise: limited beastification so Lin can survive without losing himself, then leave with Puro.
