The model name in source B is WRONG. That's the version name. Why are you setting up your own license while ignoring the constraint that only one point is attached?
❌Have different permissions when sharing merges
Hi there, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. I'm still new to Civitai, so I really appreciate the feedback.
About the naming: You're right. Just stacking the source model names together as the new model name is indeed confusing and not following the common practice. I'll make sure to name my future merges more clearly (e.g., using a unique name and listing the sources in the description). Thanks for pointing that out.
About the commercial license: I think there might be a small misunderstanding here. I'm not trying to add my own restrictions arbitrarily. The "non-commercial" restriction comes from one of the source models I merged. According to the CreativeML Open RAIL-M license (which most models on C站 follow), any derivative model must inherit the restrictions from its source models. If one source says "non-commercial," then the merge cannot be commercial either. I'm simply respecting that requirement, not creating a new license myself.
I'm still learning how all this works, so please let me know if I got anything wrong. Thanks again for the honest feedback — it helps me improve.
Why did you upload this model two times? Since they both share the same hash code, all generations will automatically be attributed to the one uploaded first, which makes the second upload completely obsolete.
Network problem. The network is terrible. Sorry.
@cactuscheung0216567 I still recommend that you delete one of them...
