"Sohatsu" is a Japanese hairstyle where the front part of the head is not shaved, unlike the typical "chonmage" style.

In this style, the hair is pulled back and tied into a ponytail or a small bun at the back.

In the Edo period, it was considered proper grooming for a "Bushi" to have a neatly shaved head, so those called "Samurai=侍" who had a master generally did not wear this hairstyle.

ローカルモデルで日本の侍の画像を生成しようと思うと非常に困難な状況です。「Japanese samurai」と入力すると中国と日本の兜・鎧が混じったような国籍不明な衣装を着た武将が出てきたり、そうかと想えば中国風の髷を結った武人が二刀流で剣を振り回したりといった有様です。とにかく中華色が強くなってしまう。

「せめて髪型だけでも何とかしたいな～」と思いこのLoraを作成した次第です。

これは「月代」のある、頭頂部を剃り上げた侍用の髪型ではなく、月代のない「総髪」と呼ばれるタイプの髪型です。主に学者、医者、浪人がしていた髪型です。同じ武士とは言え、主君持ちである（サラリーがある）侍身分の人たちは原則としてこんな髪型はしていませんでした。きちんと月代の手入れをすることが武士のしきたりとされていたからです。（幕末期は除きます）
