Guiron is a giant monster (kaiju) that first appeared in the 1969 film Gamera vs. Guiron, produced by Daiei Film. He is a loyal guardian of the planet Terra, a dying world located on the opposite side of the Sun.

Guiron's most striking feature is his massive, knife-shaped head, which he uses to slice through his enemies and even deflect Gamera’s fireballs. In addition to his lethal head, he can fire shuriken-like stars from circular indentations on the sides of his "blade." His four-legged, quadrupedal stance and metallic, blade-like appearance make him one of the most unique and recognizable adversaries in the Gamera franchise.

ギロンは、1969年に大映が製作した映画『ガメラ対大悪獣ギロン』で初登場した巨大怪獣（怪獣）です。彼は、太陽の反対側に位置する滅びゆく惑星「テラ」の忠実な番犬（守護獣）として描かれています。 

ギロンの最大の特徴は、巨大なナイフ状の頭部です。これを使って敵を切り裂き、ガメラの火炎弾さえも跳ね返します。また、刃の側面にある円形の穴から手裏剣状の星形弾を発射することも可能です。四足歩行のスタイルと、金属的で刃物のような外見は、ガメラシリーズの中でも最もユニークで印象的な敵役の一人として知られています。
