Simple Text to Image workflow with ControlNet tiled upscale

This is my main workflow for SDXL/Pony/Illustrious that uses ControlNet tile upscaling.

Features

• Two types of tiled upscaling: Ultimate SD and ControlNet with a one-click switch.

• Save upscaled images with Civitai-compatible metadata as PNG and/or JPG. Workflow is also saved within your PNGs.

• Face and Hand detailer with optional custom prompts.

• (optional) CFG Skimming - here's my earlier article about this feature. CFG Skimming is turned off by default.

• Simple built-in color correction via overlay for pre-upscale ESRGAN models like Remacri that tend to reduce contrast and saturation. Set it to 0 if you're using other ESRGAN such as 4x-UltraSharp and colors in the upscaled image look too saturated.

• For low VRAM try reducing tile size in the upscaler to 512.

Getting Started

• Requires manual installation of Save Images With Metadata Universal Extension from GitHub.

• Download ControlNet model from HuggingFace and put it into ComfyUI > models > controlnet. (~2.4GB dowload). Assign this model in the upscaler after ESRGAN model here:
  

  • General use (works for all kind of styles): Promax model

  • Realistic images: TTplanet realistic mode

• Install/Update custom ComfyUI nodes using ComfyUI Manager.

• When running workflow for the first time, remove Bypass on a Metadata Rule Scanner. Bypass it after.

• Updated and tested with ComfyUI 0.43.0

• Added CFG Skimming, after more testing I think it's an interesting tool. Can be easily disabled in generation settings options (enable_skimming). Change CFG to recommended checkpoint values when you disable it.

• Saved images should now be compatible with Civitai. I was getting tired of filling some fields manually. Requires manual installation of Save Images With Metadata Universal Extension

• Combined generation settings into a single subgraph
  

• For MetaData saver to work properly, run Rules Scanner Subgraph once after installation or when you change nodes in ComfyUI (I don't make the rules)
  

• By default set tile_batch_size to 1 in HiRes subgraph to safely run on <12GB VRAM. If you have more than 12GB, set it to 2 (can be even higher with 24GB, but I won't recommend it).

• Removed redundant switch for Adetailer.
