The superior version.
it's somtimes shocking to see this version of the chararter bascially disappeared from the internet post spiderverse, and nearly treated as nonexistent

How so? You can add hood or hood down if you want, but when I was making images I didn't need to add any extra prompts.
Likewise you could add spider web print, but I found it wasn't necessary and added extra background noise.
If you're running into anything weird it might be the checkpoint you're using. It worked fine across the ones I used like waveij and waiillustriousdxl. But you can see the prompts I used which were all pretty basic.
