Anima is still not available on CivitAI on-site generator (As of 2026/03/11) so here is an IL version of this checkpoint.
Anima version is much better but I really enjoyed the IL version's results.
Any way to run this on Forge Neo?
Yes thanks for asking!
My friend made a guide https://civitai.com/articles/27039/setting-up-forge-neo-for-using-anima-with-stability-matrix
@CitronLegacy聽Right on, thanks!
@CitronLegacy聽Seems like the only way to do it is install Forge Neo through Stability Matrix? guess it wont work with my standalone install.
@Corgblam聽I only use ComfyUI so I'm not sure about Forge. I though Stability Matrix was just a way to install/update Forge but you can install/update manually? My friend that wrote the guide might have a solution for Forge Neo without Stability Matrix if you ask on the article.
@Corgblam聽Have you figured it out? Should work with standalone install too (I haven't tried it though).
@RisingV聽I have not yet. I forgot the addition to Webui-user.bat that makes it automatically update.
@Corgblam聽Hey I am not sure if you are able to access my article right now, so I am copypasting my comment I posted there:
"I had the same problem with Stability Matrix. Earlier version did not want to update. I had to install a new instance of Forge Neo. Probably due to new pytorch version used. Can you verify which version your current install is using? I think you may have no other choice than doing a reinstall."
iv been using this in Forge UI Neo since it released just works, just pick Anima Profile on top left and that's all.
@MrFlex聽Thats my issue. my copy of Forge Neo doesn't have that, and won't update. Likely an outdated version of Python or something.
@Corgblam聽 tried to delete the Venv folder so it rebuilds it and do git pull?
@MrFlex聽I shall try that
Got it working. I had to remove all instances of Python, install Python 3.13, git pull the new version of Forge Neo, restart my computer, then run it and transfer everything over to the new install.
@Corgblam聽perfect have fun with Anima
How come I can use this checkpoint in the old on-site generator but not the new one?
Is this model a LORA or a diffusion model?
why does it have a prompt like R34L or detailed face,
Its a diffusion model. I made by merging a Lora into Anima preview 1 so the triggers are related to the training data I used in the lora.
