Does this version allow NSFW Content better than the original one?
It does allow some level of NSFW, but it's limited. Same level as Seedream 4.5, I reckon.

Its native environment (https://grok.com/imagine) allows using this model to generate NSFW/+18 content sometimes, I don't know if it will be the same story when using this model in this site.

@ravemry9 When I upload an external image to Grok Imagine, there are times when the generator allows me to generate almost anything, and other times when it only allows me to generate SFW content.
And it's a somewhat different story when I use an image generated in the Grok Imagine's image generator.
Yes, the limit is somewhat random.
@CuauhtemocI5MAL Yes, that's what I've experienced with it too - it's pretty inconsistent. We're calling the Grok API, so on Civitai it works as if you're using on the Grok Imagine official platform.

topless, in a thong is the lowest it goes. you might as well forget about any video ideas you have, they get nuked hard and it's not cheap. API is somewhat worth it right now for the novice, I would expect the same thing to happen to the API tho too but I reckon that's over now? Think it would be a little too hopeful to say it will lighten up

No, this is Elon Musk's Grok Imagine, created by his company xAI. The sample images are similar, for comparison between the two models.

Also while setting the "image to video" up, you'll get sugestet, that the generation will take blue buzz. I've then entered my prompt, still no change. Then I klick on "Generate" and without any warning or 2nd layer it just changes to yellow buzz and accounts me in yellow. -> also very not nice 😠

What happened with GrokImagine (GI) Img2Img?
At the end of March, GrokImagine had its update, and now to edit on GI you need a subscription. But what's the situation on Civitai?
Right now, Img2Img generations look like they were created with Grok, not edited with it!
Also, are we getting the worst of both worlds? Civitai's denoising effect for Img2Img combined with Grok's insane moderation?
Any way we can get "quality mode" API access? Also, the video generation seems like it's insanely censored. Imagine video will allow the same level of nudity the image model allows and usually more even, but that's not the case with the text2video on the generator; it will reject a fully clothed figure. We also can't take an imagined image and direct it into i2v the same way; on imagine that disables a pre-censor since the model knows it's being handed a generated image, can't really do that with this setup.
Kind of a letdown that this is not opensource for people to use locally on their devices.

it's not working for me either, it was all good before the update on the site, but now it's basically impossible to make it work even on suggestive pics, not even straight nsfw content... they should restore things how they previously was!
@heftyroom61610 its not civit, its xai that's too blame, it's the same deal on wavespeed, i tried the API there and nothing nsfw works anymore.

its around the board, they censored the API that the model uses, doesn't matter where you go it's basically built in.
Straight up porn, technically speaking, isn't allowed. So images or video with a focus on genitalia will get blocked most of the time.
You're not wrong, but correlating without causation...There was an update in March that further restricted 'speed' generations (about the same time .red became a thing.)
I've posted some anime style stuff that barely worked prior and just will not work anymore.

I got "This request did not pass the external content moderation policy" for an image which contained some nudity, but which was not explicit or pornographic. Yet, look at the examples below....
Look for a little yellow triangle at the bottom right corner of an image; it indicates whether it was generated on-site or not.
Evidently on-site filtering sucks utter balls (I’ve had images blocked with zero nudity), whilst the image filter layer is just lame & ineffective for uploads (most users probably just make up fake prompts). Perhaps legally, generating the content holds you more liable legally than just accepting uploads from it generated elsewhere?
I think it’s more probable it’s probably just crap filtering lol
Edit - tbf, effective filtering for an onslaught of near endless AI generated content is likely a nightmare. It still pisses me off when it happens to me though (especially given how unfair it often seems).
@ShadowCell Im facing the exact same issue with Grok Imagine. Even if I add in prompts with just words like 'lingerie' and 'bra' etc. it basically doesn't even go further than that, and just moderates the whole damn video. Used to be a peach till about some weeks ago, but someone probably got this shitty idea of filtering everything. Is there a way I can bypass that, maybe something I am doing wrong, or maybe some settings needs to change ?
@rohit2206 Yeh, it was very liberal....then they were threatened with legal & political pressure, & getting hammered with lawsuits; so they changed to what we have now (rather than be forced to after losing a bunch of money first).
If you want the quick/easy version; Ask either Grok AI (you'd think this makes no sense lol), or Qwen AI.
