funny model :D
Those showcase images look strangely familiar... xD
I will upload my usual test image in a bit. Thank you for creating those merges! :)

Quite a nice result, especially with only 8 steps!
Sam Universal is one of my all-time favorite checkpoints. Go figure yours would be the one to get me to finally use Anima. The code-switching between anime and semi-realistic so easily makes for some compelling use.
For some reason, the model does not like hires.fix. It adds way too much hair on the skin, even with less realistic images. Sometimes the hair is too prominent even before hires.fix. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong.
I assume hires fix is like a refiner/inpainter thing? If that's the case, Anima isn't trained to handle those yet. It will get better at it in future versions, but for now, you're better off using anima just for base generation and something like Illustrious (at low control percentage) as your refiner model.
Or if all you want is to upscale, consider turning your refiner model's influence down to 0% and letting upscaler alone handle it.
This model is amazing! I declare it my favorite now.
currently testing, so far a very clean model. reminds me a bit of uncannyvalley with how great the model is at 3d semi-realism. looking forward to a base 1 release. even if never updated again, it is very good.
