Susan Saint James (b. 1946) is a retired American actress. She had a lengthy career in television, most notably in McMillan & Wife (1971-76) — in which she played Rock Hudson's 21-years-younger spouse — and Kate & Allie (1984-89), in which she and Jane Curtin played recent divorcees sharing an apartment in Greenwich Village. Saint James was nominated for eight Emmys, winning once (Best Supporting Actress for The Name of the Game in 1969).

She hosted Saturday Night Live twice. The first time, she met SNL executive producer Dick Ebersol; the two have been together since 1981. Before him, though, she had a long list of big-name flames, including Clint Eastwood, Ted Kennedy, Stephen Stills, and George Hamilton.
