The original 3step v3 works better. The 2 step needs to be set to 4 step to output the same text quality but the image looks like its got a retro 80s filter on it. The skin looks rough, and the details are very low.
I, at most use it with three steps, four steps looks too plastic, but ya, you lose on creativity and variety, as with any lightning Lora, if you can afford a full model go for it. On my iPad with 8 gb ram, 2 step Lora is great for prototyping (I suppose you meant 4step Lora v3)
